This module provides an overview over analytical techniques. It is aimed PhD students who conduct analyses themselves or commission them and PhD students who use the results.

Suggested experiments:
- Raman-microspectroscopy of minerals and rock samples.
- Use of Raman-sensor technology on biogeonic gases

09:00-ca. 12:30 T /L preprocessing and basic statistical analysis of measurement data, demonstration with Canoco

Requirements: ''Please bring a laptop and either install Canoco (trial version, expiration in June '13) or, if you don't use Windows, install the Remote Desktop Connection Client or similar software to be able to work on our terminal server.''
