Twice a year the IMPRS-gBGC accepts applications for PhD positions. Stay informed about future calls for application. If you experience problems while using the sign up form, please get in touch with the IMPRS office.

Your application consists of three steps:

1. Online registration & submission of application documents (December 9 - January 7, 2026)
2. (Possibly) Phone or video conference interview (January-February 2026)
3. Selection symposium in Jena (March 10-11, 2026)
